2 MEETING ROOMS FOR SHORT TERM HIRE.

These can accommodate around 25 people for talks or discussions. They have also been used for committee meetings, for a variety of workshops, for meditation and for complementary therapy.

The building consists of
- a lower ground floor, on which can be found the Smaller Meeting Room and the toilets,

- the middle floor, consisting of the Larger Meeting Room and an adjacent kitchen area,

- and on the top floor, two office rooms which are not available for hire, but may be available for long-term letting.

There are no provisions for disabled access.


Schedule of Charges

Charges are made by 3-hour sessions and for specific rooms in the building

Sessions
9.30-12.30 and 3.30-6.30. Day-time sessions may be arranged for other times. Evening sessions may also be available.

There is no session on any Sunday morning or on the third Wednesday in each month.

2 OFFICE ROOMS FOR LONG-TERM LET

Location : Quaker Gardens, off Banner Street, London EC1Y 8QQ (about 500 metres from Old Street Underground station). The area is quiet, for Central London, green, with excellent public transport connections at Old Street and City Road.

Accommodation : The rooms are contained in the Meeting House building, which was built in the 1880s. They are located at the top of the building and overlook the gardens on two sides.

The larger room measures approximately 2.79 X 5.27 metres, and the smaller one, 2.94 X 4.49 metres, a total of about 28 square metres.

There are three double electric plugs and a telephone point in each room.

In addition, the occupier will have access to the Meeting Room on the raised ground floor, which can, by arrangement, be used for meetings by the occupier. There is also a kitchen, which adjoins the Meeting Room and which can be used when the Meeting Room is not in use by other users. In the basement area, there are toilets and a shower.

Access to the building is via steps to the raised ground floor level. There are no provisions for disabled access.

Outside, a door from the Meeting Room leads onto a veranda with steps down to the attractive Meeting House garden.

There are two dedicated parking spaces in front of the building.

The rooms have been used as offices for several years and have recently been vacated by a small charity which is expanding, and has moved to larger premises.

Rent : £7,200 per annum, payable calendar monthly in advance. The occupier will be responsible for Council tax on the offices, and telephone bills. Heating, lighting and water charges will be shared with other users.

Licence agreement : A minimum duration of a year, thereafter terminable by three months notice.

Bunhill Meeting House may be found through a rectangular archway off Banner Street, (see "Bunhill Meeting House" sign) a short walk from Old Street Underground station. It is very central - on the edge of the City of London.

It is set on the edge of the recently replanted and refurbished Quaker Gardens.
